of your Government presenting its claims direct to the

Government in the Province, in the same manner as in the

case of the year 1920 when a similar claim for suspension of through traffic was in October of that year presented, if I remember it rightly, by your Government direct to the

local Government here, that the accounts in the present instance are being forwarded to me to give me, as you say, an opportunity to check them before they accumulate further. The work of checking the same is still in progress and as soon as it is completed, I will advise you in due course.
